We are lacing up our shoes on September 26th to stand in solidarity with those affected, celebrating their incredible resilience. All proceeds from our walk support the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF), helping to drive research toward effective treatments and foster a community of empowerment. Whether you join us for the walk or contribute through a donation, your support brings hope and healing.

Walking Program

Walking is one of the simplest, most effective exercises. A structured walking program can improve your health, boost your mood, and increase energy. Whether you're a beginner or enhancing your routine, this program fits your needs.

Start by establishing a walking schedule of at least 30 minutes a day, five days a week. You can break this into shorter sessions, like three 10-minute walks. Choose comfortable walking shoes and a safe route, whether it’s a park, neighborhood, or treadmill. Warm up with light stretching to prepare your muscles.

Maintain a brisk pace that elevates your heart rate while allowing conversation. To keep things interesting, vary your routes and consider walking with a friend or listening to music or podcasts.
