Pairing for the Next Queen Monologue Contest
I was deeply moved by our gathering tonight. We connected on such a profound level that it brought tears to my eyes. We opened the meeting with a simple "One Word Exercise" to check in on how we were feeling and how our weeks were going. It was beautiful to see how just one word could open the door to the sisterhood we all share.
Next, we moved into a pairing exercise, bringing together Queens who hadn't yet had the chance to know one another. There is something incredibly special about learning someone's story and discovering shared commonalities. We swapped heartfelt stories, raised our glasses for our signature Queen Toast , and were blessed by a deeply touching Queen Monologue . We wrapped up the evening by capturing an amazing picture of all the incredible women in the room.
I feel truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful circle. Thank you for continually being so inspiring, ladies!

Raffle Fiesta and Crowning the Queen Monologue Contest Winner
We had an absolute blast on Thursday, July 30th, during our second hybrid meeting! Hosted at Queen Dorothy's home in Martinsburg, WV, we were thrilled to welcome about 20 new Queens into our circle. We kicked off the evening with a delicious taco bar before heading downstairs to open our Zoom room for the Queens attending virtually. During introductions, it was incredibly exciting to see so many new faces eager to join Inspiring Women. A special thank you to Queen Natalie for delivering a riveting Queen Monologue, and to Queen Rosalind for blessing us with a beautiful Queen Toast. The rest of the night was filled with fun and laughter during our raffle drawing, where Queens won prizes ranging from perfumes and pocketbooks to bracelets and retail gift cards. A huge congratulations to our Queen Monologue Contest winner, brand-new member Steph Capella! Thank you to everyone who attended and made the night so unforgettable.

A Parenting Journey: A Circle of Grace
Tonight’s Inspiring Women meeting was, without a doubt, one of our most riveting and captivating gatherings to date. Focused on the theme of "parenting," our circle became a sacred space for a raw, honest exploration of the journey. The stories shared were profoundly moving—ranging from lighthearted and funny to deeply heartfelt, and melancholy. It was a testament to our sisterhood that the emphasis was not on advice-giving, but simply on sitting back, taking in each other's experiences, and offering the grace of a knowing, empathetic nod.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every woman who attended tonight and brought such authenticity to the room. We were especially thrilled to welcome new Queens into our circle for the first time—a warm welcome to Queen Natalie, Queen Vanessa, and Queen Jina! It was also nice to see some of the queens we haven't seen in a while - Queen Mona, Queen Lisa and Queen Erika. We were absolutely captivated by Queen Lee’s monologue, and the collective feeling of love and vulnerability was palpable. Thank you, Queens, for showing up, sharing your stories, and creating an atmosphere that left us all feeling profoundly connected.

First Hybrid Meeting with a Special Guest Speaker
Our Thursday, June 18th meeting was a true honor as we hosted Reverend Charlotte Shackelford as our guest speaker. Her presence brought such a grounding energy to our group, and her words resonated deeply with everyone in the room. Through her motivating speech, she challenged us to look inward and provided us with the practical tools to embrace our journeys with renewed clarity. Thank you, Reverend Shackelford, for helping us better understand what it truly means to walk with purpose and for leaving us all so profoundly inspired.
Beyond the powerful message, we had so much fun simply enjoying one another's company and strengthening our bonds. It was a joy to connect with the Queens who were in-person: Queen Dorothy, Queen Roxanne, Queen Cari, Queen Taleeba, and the members who were virtual: Queen Tenise, Queen Soni and Queen Lee. Having everyone share in these moments—whether in the room or online—reminded us exactly why this community is so special.

Incorporating Music Into Your Life
During our June 4th meeting, we were thrilled to welcome a few new Queens to our circle for what was truly an outstanding session. Our amazing guest speaker, Mr. Tracy Baker, took us on an inspiring journey exploring how to incorporate music into our daily lives, live our best lives, and find the courage to uplift others to do the same. He spoke with incredible grace and purpose.
After bidding Mr. Baker farewell, we raised our glasses for the "Queen Toast" and transitioned into our signature segment—sharing our stories and listening to one another without judgment. It was a deeply moving and fulfilling evening. Thank you, Queens! - Queen Victoria.
More than a Fellowship
During our May 21st session, the Queens broke out into pairs and took time to learn more about their fellow Inspiring Women member. They shared conversations about hobbies, interests, careers or businesses, and discovered many things they have in common.
This session was more than simple fellowship — it was a fulfilling and uplifting experience that allowed the ladies to connect on a deeper level and truly appreciate one another’s journeys.
