Featured Leader: Lisa Cathro
Advocate & Community Leader
Lisa Cathro is a dynamic community leader and advocate who joined our Inspiring Women community this past April. Currently running for the WV House of Delegates, District 96, Lisa is driven by a passion for the people of Berkeley County and a commitment to government that truly listens to and works for its constituents. As a public school teacher for the last 13 years, she has spent her career fostering inclusive environments that welcome diverse voices, a collaborative approach she plans to bring to the House of Delegates to find innovative solutions to our region’s most pressing issues.
Beyond her public service, Lisa brings that same energetic dedication to her role as a small business owner at Epic Level Ink, a vibrant local shop specializing in high-quality custom apparel. Whether she is serving her customers with professional-grade printing, volunteering at church, or raising her three children, Lisa balances her many roles with a focus on "teaching each other to fish"—prioritizing long-term solutions and community empowerment. We are proud to have such a committed and tenacious changemaker in our group as she works to advocate for stronger schools, better jobs, and affordable housing in our community.
