Our First Walk Will Happen on Saturday, June 13th, beginning promptly at 6:30 AM

Our first walk is a 4-mile round-trip along the Route 9 Pathway. We will meet and start from the Coast Guard Road parking lot, heading toward Ranson/Charles Town. 

The route goes out 2 miles before turning back, but feel free to turn around early if you prefer a shorter walk! Please remember to bring a washcloth and sun glasses or something to shield your eyes from the sun; cold waters will be provided—if preferred, you can leave any items in your car.  We will begin walking promptly at 6:30 AM; please arrive a little early if you need to stretch.

Our Walking Program welcomes people of all ages to join us on the weekends. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others while promoting health and longevity through regular physical activity.

How the program works

We primarily meet for in-person walks on weekends. However, if weather conditions prevent outdoor activities, we adapt! Sessions can shift to virtual gatherings, featuring stretches and chair exercises you can do comfortably from home. Our focus is always on your well-being.
